Es sumamente importante tener alguien dentro de todas las bibliotecas publicas que habla una de las idiomas pricipales (español, ruso, chino entre otras) para atender a nuestro público tan diverso. Porque tan pocos bibliotecarios hablan otra idioma más que el inglés?

Hola! I haven't spoken Spanish since high school, but I understood your post, and I agree! I am actually thinking of signing up for a refresher course in Spanish so that I may better help our diverse patrons. We don't get too many people speaking Hebrew (which I could actully help them with!) :)
